Important payment and shipping info


The NSSL and SPC Employees Association (NSEA) operates this concession for the purpose of raising money to support the various activities of the NSEA. The NSEA started the Web-based consession pages in January 1996, starting with severe weather photograph sales. Then, in April of 1996, we began to sell clothing on the Web. We average about 10 clothing orders, and 3 photograph orders per month on our Web pages, but the hot seasons are springtime (tornado season!) and around the holidays.

The NSEA concession stand is operated by volunteers. Due to volunteer schedules, orders are shipped only once or twice per month. Please allow 4-8 weeks to process orders.

The NSEA concession attempts to maintain a reasonable stock of merchandise at all times for on-line orders. However, the same merchandise available on-line may also be purchased directly at the NSSL/SPC building in Norman, Oklahoma. This means that merchandise may be out of stock at the time of the order. If this is the case, you will be notified via e-mail when your order is received.

Merchandise will only be shipped after payment is received. We can only accept payments in US Dollars and can only ship orders to addresses in the United States and Canada. If payment is made by personal check, then merchandise will be shipped after the check clears. Due to the limited stock on hand, and the fact that merchandise is also sold on site at the NSSL/SPC to visitors, no merchandise can be held until payment is received. Also, ordered items may be in stock at the time of the order, but out of stock at the time that payment is received. In these cases, payment will be held until the merchandise is in stock again and can be shipped. Again, no item is guaranteed until payment is received.

Special requests will be accomodated if time permits. However, we do not accept any "extra" payment for "Rush" orders, as we simply cannot accomodate rush orders in any way. We do our best to satisfy all customers with our limited time and resources!

We hope that when you order merchandise from the NSEA, that you find the merchandise in acceptable condition. All merchandise has a money-back guarantee if the merchandise is defective (we feel 30 days is acceptable).

NSEA uses PayPal for secure online credit card transactions. A PayPal account is NOT necessary for you to use this service, we only need a valid credit card and shipping address to complete your order! More information is available on how to use the PayPal shopping cart.

If you wish to pay by personal check or money order instead of using a credit card online, please use your own PayPal account for payment -- or -- make a print out of your final shopping cart, and mail the printout along with a check or money order in US Dollars made out to "NSEA" to the following address:
